After popular demand, The Dutch Apple will bring back comedies to their stage with Run For Your Wife opening February 14. Run For Your Wife is a British comedy written by the "master of farce" Ray Cooney, and is said to be one of the funniest and most popular of all his plays.

Run For Your Wife is the story of London cab driver John Smith who has two separate lives complete with two wives, Mary and Barbara. Somehow, he manages to juggle both marriages without arousing suspicion until he gets mugged and winds up in the hospital. He has to work tirelessly to keep his suspicious wives from running into each other and to keep all of his stories together. Run For Your Wife is a fast-paced, slapstick, laugh-a-minute romp that will leave you in stitches and begging for more!

Victor Legarreta will direct and star in this comedy as cab driver John Smith. Victor was last seen as the world's greatest performer, Frank Sinatra, in The Rat Pack Lounge. This marks over seventy-five productions Victor has directed in his twenty plus years as a performer, director, choreographer and artistic director. This also marks over one hundred and thirty national, international and cruise ship productions that he has performed in.

Dutch Apple favorite, Paul Glodfelter will play the role of Detective Porterhouse. Paul was last seen as the Pastor in A Second Helping: The Church Basement Ladies Sequel and as the beloved Santa Claus in A Swingin' Christmas. Paul studied Music and Theatre at Bloomsburg University and his credits include The Most Happy Fella, Amadeus, Me And My Girl, To Kill A Mockingbird and Big River. A native of Pennsylvania, Paul now lives in Eastern Kentucky with his wife of 15 years.
